  • Although there is no “cookie cutter” image, those involved in ΑΙΓ are passionate about the field of healthcare, with interests running a gamut from clinical medicine and biotechnology, to hospital administration and consulting.

    Moreover, those who are eager to be a part of an organization that emphasizes community, professionalism, service, and brotherhood to all aspects of health care.

  • From a current brother… Joining AIR has introduced me to stellar students interested in healthcare that I otherwise would not have met. AIR has given me so many friendships and people to support me academically and personally. I have learned about many different careers and interests in healthcare from the brotherhood, and it’s been great hearing about all the amazing things they are doing professionally. I also enjoy the leadership aspect of AIR. We are a young organization so our brotherhood has an active role in shaping what AIR means on campus.

  • Absolutely! We encourage people to re-rush ΑΙΓ.

  • Yes, there are multiple members of ΑΙΓ that actively participate in greek life as well. ΑΙΓ is a group of highly-involved students, and with good time management and organizational skills, being a member of ΑΙΓ and other extracurriculars is very doable—and highly recommended. Usually discouraged, however, is planning on rushing ΑΙΓ and a social fraternity at the same time due to the compounding demands of pledging both organizations.

  • Yes, although we recommend that you do not rush and pledge both of these pre-professional fraternities simultaneously.

  • For general body members, time commitments include attending a one-hour chapter meeting every Sunday and partaking in several academic, social, professional, and social events planned throughout the semester.
